More iPhone 4 macrography...
My entry for the "Day in TalkPhotography Time"...
Green & Garden Spider...
Three passions in one image..
Messing with my iPhone 4
And being in my garden... it's what Bank Holidays are made for...
Taken at 1555hrs today, Monday 30th August 2010, in our garden in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire...
Taken with, processed in and sent from my iP4... with a little help from a x10 loupe... :-)
Leopard Angel...
Loupey Orchid taken with my iPhone4...
Natural side lighting from our dining room window and all handheld - guess I need stabilisers !?!Wanting to expand the capabilities of the iPhone4 and also test my own abilities with it I am going to play with the loupe and other magnifying lenses on a variety of subjects in what one might call iPhone Macrography!
I have not yet discovered how to group images into a gallery once they have been posted in my Posterings, maybe some kind member can point me in the right diection ?
Anyway... here is the first experiment taken this morning with very little preparation other than cleaning my loupe (after I surprisingly found it with very little searching !) moving the orchid to the widow sill and trying to keep the phone and loupe stable enough to take the photograph.
Watch out for more in the series coming to a Postering near you soon...
Taken with my iP4 (& x10 loupe) processed in phone with Photogene and BestCam and posted with BestCam to my Posterings, Flickr, FaceBook and Twitter... :-)
Red Bus...
A view from Starbucks at a certain rail station...
I hate London !
Far too many people and way too much vehicular movements make it top of my to avoid locations - and when it is hot it is just ridiculous to be expected to go do some work there too !?!
Not only that but to get there invariably means a most unpleasant experience on public transport, to whit the dirty, oft late, unkempt and tatty 'modern' railway... and don't even contemplate going anywhere underground unless you are in serious need of whiffs of rank body odour, stale nasties, ignorant and self-centred persons of all makes, colours and creeds or you are just plain nuts...
I would not mind never visiting the place ever again but, at least in this current incarnation of my life, that is unfortunately highly unlikely... :-(
Never mind... plenty of photo opportunities for those who have no wish, as do I, to finish business and hurry up the hell out of there.
However, on this occasion I just missed a connection and had a half hour to kill. So, with an overwhelming desire to get away from the millions of bodies on or near the platform... whoever thought that a Starbucks would ever offer peace, solitude and great coffeee...
It didn't do any of those of course... but I did get great views into the sunshine where the occasional and iconic London Double-Decker Bus caught my eye as it came out of the shadows on the left and into the strong sunlight in a blaze of fire engine red !
Taken with, processed in and sent from my iP4...
Flower Of The Sun
This is my first 'proper' photograph taken with my iPhone 3GS and BestCam'd onto Chase Jarvis' iPhone community - The Best Camera (Is The One That's With You !). I have just posted it on Knox Bronson's PixelsatanExhibition.com site following a call for 'Firsts with an iPhone' images.
This image, and The Best Camera site/community started me on the long road of a personal challenge to take and upload at least one image per day for the following 365 days of the first year - exclusively with my beloved 3G S !
So far, so good... I am now over two thirds into the challenge and honestly, I have not quite managed to upload an image every single day. However, I have taken, iNPhone processed with various apps and uploaded, more than the requisite quantity to achieve the end result - 365 exclusively iPhone images taken in the year following this, my 'First' ! And I have not missed all that many days at all to be fair...
More than anything else, this little project has rejuvenated my image taking mojo and forced me to look at photography from an entirely different perspective. I am thoroughly enjoying my challenge and my photography more than ever and even though I do have other cameras (far too many of them to be sure) I always have my iPhone with me and it is always thinking about taking my next BestCam image for me...
Not only but also, I have just learned one of my iPhone images has recently been exhibited in the States, that I had completely forgotten about, following a call for artists resulting in one of my own being shortlisted as one of the 200 finalists... more of this in the next posterings ramble... :-)
Rog... :)
Something not too pre-posterous... :-)
Well here goes nothing...
Attempting to post something not too pre-posterous for the first time.
Following John Denman's (John2Blue) recent lead !
